Wisła Płock has acquired young Polish national team player Dominik Sarapata. The 18-year-old midfielder has joined the Nafciarzy team on loan from FC Kopenhagen, which will last until the end of the 2025/2026 season. Sarapata returns to Poland after just a six-month break. Last summer, he was sold by Górnika Zabrze for 4 million euros. However, in the current season, he failed to win a place in the new employer's squad. He did not play a single game in the Danish league, only making brief appearances in the Champions League qualifiers and the Danish Cup. He regularly played only in the UEFA Youth League. Dominik Sarapata was born in Świętochłowice and began his football career at Józefka Chorzów. From there, at the age of 13, he moved to the Górnika Zabrze academy. The new acquisition of the PKO Ekstraklasa leader regularly plays for the Polish youth national teams. He has already collected 37 games for them. This winter, Wisła also acquired 18-year-old Belarusian defender Matvey Bochno, who was previously associated with Lech Poznań. Sarapata's transfer is an important move for Wisła Płock, which wants to consolidate its position in the PKO Ekstraklasa. The young midfielder has great potential and can be an important reinforcement for the team. Wisła Płock is the leader of the PKO Ekstraklasa table and wants to win the Polish championship. Sarapata's transfer is a step towards achieving this goal.
