Wisła Płock, a football club in the Ekstraklasa, is not being privatized as previously speculated. Recent reports indicate that Marek Koźmiński and Cezary Kucharski will not take over the club. Tomasz Włodarczyk and Piotr Koźmiński revealed that negotiations are advanced, but the situation is different than expected. The upcoming vote regarding Koźmiński's entry into Wisła Płock will take place on June 25. Koźmiński is set to join as a minority shareholder rather than as the club's owner. This means that the decision about the club's future will be made by the city council of Płock. Wisła Płock finished the season in eighth place in the Ekstraklasa table, and despite potential changes in ownership structure, the club is actively engaged in the transfer market. They recently signed Dion Gallapeni from Widzew Łódź for a record amount of 800,000 euros. This shows that Wisła Płock is not slowing down, even amid uncertainty regarding ownership.
